I started as a software engineer, spending three years building products before shifting into UX design and localization. That engineering background is why I don’t just make things look right — I understand how they’re built, which makes my recommendations realistic to implement. Combining engineering, UX design, and native-level Japanese localization lets me catch problems that a designer alone, or a translator alone, would miss: a UI that looks fine in English but breaks under Japanese text, or a purchase flow that’s technically sound but doesn’t build trust with Japanese users.
